As our hops enjoy some much needed rain, we are already turning our thoughts to September’s harvest. This can only mean one thing – party time! This year we are celebrating the hop harvest by splitting the weekend into two – our Family focussed event, the TEA party will now be on Sunday and will be similar to our previous parties but with a bit more to do for the kids and ending a little earlier, whilst the Saturday Hop Harvest Party will now be more focussed on music for adults.
The gathering in of this year’s hop harvest will be celebrated on Saturday 18th September from 3pm to 10.30pm in traditional Hogs Back style – a bar full of Hogs Back beer, including a special harvest ale; our best ever live music line up; street food; hog roast and our hop decorating hat competition. This year, the Kids Zone and the children’s activities will all take place on Sunday at the TEA Party.
We are really excited about the music line up this year with the hugely popular tribute band, Fleetwood Bac, headlining for us, and original music interspersed with some covers from Coco & the Butterfields, Pattern Pusher and The TR5s.
The first 500 Early Bird tickets sold out in two days, so here’s your chance to secure your £15 ticket for the event of the year. We only have limited ticket numbers, so when they’re gone, they’re gone!
This year, we are hosting the inaugural TEA Party on Sunday 19th September!
Gates open at 11.30am for an afternoon of Hogs Back’s famous beer, great live music and street food. There will be a special harvest ale, with a prize for the best hop decorated hat, horse rides, lots of different fun things for the kids to see and do, and much, much more, including a hog roast and a TEA tent serving afternoon tea. Our headline act, to be announced shortly, will be sure to finish the party with a flourish ahead of a 7pm finish. On the day, the Hogs Back Charitable Trust will be raising funds for local community charities.
To take advantage of our Early Bird ticket offer, book your tickets now: £7 for adults, £3 for children (3-14 years old). On the gate, tickets will be £10 and £5 respectively. Offer ends 30th June.
