After a not-so-sunny summer holidays it looks like we are going to be treated to a reasonably pleasant Bank Holiday weekend! What is bound to make your weekend even more pleasant, is a pint of Hogs Back beer or cider in a new place after a nice day out. Here's a list of some of the lovely new places that have started serving our drinks which will make a grand-day out this weekend.

Tap @ The Shed, Bordon – Hazy Hog & Hogstar

Have you been to The Shed in Bordon yet? It is an amazing collection of artisan producers and food stands which just so happens to also have a great Tap. There are 15 different beers and ciders to try (including our cider and lager) and you can grab yourself a ‘flight board’ and try 3 thirds of a pint before settling on the right one for you. Grab a beer and head to a stand to select the food of your choice.

Ball & Wicket, Farnham – TEA & Surrey Nirvana

Ball & Wicket - Home | Facebook

In the tiny hamlet of Holt Pound, just a stone's throw away from the idyllic Alice Holt Forest, stands the charming Ball and Wicket country pub. The pub’s name alludes to its local cricket heritage and position on a disused cricket pitch, known locally as “the oval”, where many important Surrey games took place.

Maiden’s Head, Maidenhead – Hazy Hog

The appropriately named pub is right in the town centre and is a great place to enjoy some rocking live music. This Saturday they have Big Agga and the Jukesters who will bring 'Red hot Rhythm and Blues and funk and soul guaranteed to get your feet shufflin!'

Why not head down for a Bank Holiday boogie with a cider or two?

The Chequers, Eversley Cross – TEA

The Chequers is a historic country pub in the lovely village of Eversley Cross. It specialises in high quality gastro food so is perfect for a bank holiday stop-off after a good walk.

Also they are home to this little piggy - so why not send not send us a picture of you enjoying a pint of TEA with Truffles!

The Thatched Cottage, Farnborough - Hogstar & TEA

Having been closed for a number of months, The Thatched Cottage has just re-opened after a full refurbish and is looking lovely. The place has retained the charm of the historic building whilst creating a stunning pub garden and fresher feel throughout the pub.

The Star & Garter, East Dean, nr. Chichester - TEA and Hog IPA

Slightly further afield but perfect distance for a day-trip, The Star & Garter is situated just outside Goodwood in the rolling hills of the South Downs. They strive to only support local producers and, should you be lucky enough to also be free on Tuesday, they have a fish & chip van popping by!

(And 1 extra!) Hogs Back Tap, Tongham - All the range!

Unsurprisingly, we sell the whole Hogs Back range in our Tap room plus wines, local gins and soft drinks.

We're open Thursday to Sunday this weekend and it is the perfect time to sit in the garden and see the hops looking their absolute best before next week's harvest.
