Friday night free music at the Tap
Jump 66 will bring half-term to a jumping start with some free music at the Hogs Back Tap on Friday 22nd October. They are a celebration of the best mix of Rhythm & Blues and Ska & Swing. The Tap opens from 5pm with music kicking off from 8pm.
The Hogs Back Tap is open for drinks and serving freshly cooked pizzas Thursdays and Fridays from 5pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm so why not treat yourself to some of the freshest Hogs Back beer.
Join us on a Brewery Tour
We have spaces on our brewery tours over the next 2 weekends so why not join us for a friendly and informative tour of our brewhouse with several generous samples! Then stick around for a drink of your favourite beer from the tour at the Hogs Back Tap .
Comedy night at the Tap - Thursday 28th October
Thursday night is comedy night and we have a top bill of side-splitting comics coming!
The compere for the comedy night will be US funny-man Dave Fulton who has made his name warming the crowd up at London's Comedy Store and Jongleurs club.
He will then pass over to the very funny Laura Lexx who you will have seen on Live at the Apollo and Mock the Week. Then finally we have the Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee Glenn Moore who will bring the slightly more political humour to spice up the night!
Halloween family film festival - Sunday 31st October
Enjoy a day of ghoulish films at the Tap! We have 2 family friendly classics to bring your half term holidays to a frightening end! Book for 1 or both halloween films if you are brave enough.
It starts at 11am with the witchey classic Hocus Pocus and then continues after lunch at 2pm with the timeless original The Addams Family.
We will also be running a competition for the best dressed kid and for the scariest carved pumpkin - please get your thinking caps on and get creative!
The bar will be serving Brewery Fresh RIP-Snorter and alongside the pizzas we will also be serving bags of popcorn and pick & mix sweets.
