Take home fresh Hogs Back Beer

Visit us and try our different beers, lagers and cider, you’re welcome to sample whatever we have on draught.

Buy our draught beer in a variety of sizes from 3.5 pint bottles to 20 pint Beer Boxes and right up to a 72 pint firkin. Whether it’s for the weekend BBQ, a birthday bash or gently sipping in peace and quiet in front of the TV.

Our team all have expert knowledge, and they can recommend a beer, advise you on whether you need bright or sedimented draught beer or even show you how to tap and vent a cask!

Hogs Back Tap

The Hogs Back Tap Garden is now re-open! There are 40 tables available to book in advance for groups of up to 6 plus smaller tables available to book on arrival. We will be open Thursdays & Fridays, 5pm – 10.30pm, Saturdays 12pm – 10.30pm and Sundays 12pm – 5pm. Pre-booking a table with advance payment covers the cost of a 3.5 pint flagon of beer or cider which you choose on arrival.

Grab yourself a gift or two...

We like to keep things local so we stock a small selection of locally produced food, such as Pickled Pig and Hair of the Hog sausages, made with our beer by our friends Alf Turners and featured on TV’s Dragon’s Den.  Their pork scratchings, sausage rolls and scotch eggs are proving to be an instant hit!

We sell a range of lovely gift sets and pick your own Wooden Trug sets, perfect for birthdays and Christmas as well as clothes, glasses, mugs and other merchandise.

Staff couldn’t do enough! So friendly and welcoming! Beers were off the scale and so reasonably priced! Log burner was kept topped up and a great afternoon watching the rugby was had by all! Love this venue and will be back! Thank you!!!
